Our institute serves as a secretariat promoting public activities of the UN Sustainable Development Commission, and though various international, regional and national technology cooperation and capability-establishment activates we insist on the spirit of sustainable development.

The 21st agenda approves that people should be involved in decision making, which is one of the most important premise to realize sustainable development. Meanwhile, it defines specific effects and responsibilities of the following nine groups in nowadays society: women, children, juveniles, local people, nongovernmental organization, local authorities, workers, trade union, businessmen, scientists and farmers. Our institute advocates those people to join forces with sustainable development committee and we would provide them with research reports of our conferences.

To push forwards the goal of sustainable development during international negotiation, the strategic partnership of sustainable development is a voluntary program related to several interested members. We have gained more than 200 partnerships during the global summit conference, and the number is still on the rise. A Partnership Expo. was held during this conference to unfold existing partnerships, launch new partnerships and establish contacts between partners for more opportunities. The Study Center of Global Competitiveness Research Institute provides advanced training of practical cases according to problems of Sustainable Development Committee, during which varied training courses will be opened by famous professors and practitioners.
